Sexyy Red is shutting down all rumors about her alleged involvement with former President Donald Trump's upcoming rally.

On Tuesday, July 30, a blog on X, formerly known as Twitter, claimed the St. Louis rapper was scheduled to perform at Trump's rally in Atlanta this weekend. Fans were quick to believe the post due to her previous support for Trump's campaign. After the unverified report picked up plenty of traction on the social network website, Big Sexyy herself decided to clear up the misconception.

"Dey fakin dats cap 🧢," she wrote while reposting the fake news.

Sexyy Red has faced her fair share of criticism ever since she supported the Republican candidate for president in an interview last year. Since then, she continued to allude to her support for the 45th president by using a MAGA-inspired theme for her recent project In Sexyy We Trust.

The 26-year-old artist brought a ginormous red "Make America Sexyy Again" hat as a stage prop for various performances at the beginning the summer. She even brought it to festivals like Governors Ball in New York City and Roots Picnic in Philadelphia. Following the backlash from fans and critics, Sexyy Red attempted to backtrack on her support of Trump. In June, she took to X and clarified that she does not endorse anyone for president.

“It’s Sexyy Red 4 President,” she wrote on X. “I’m my own candidate. I’m not endorsing anybody period.”

Sexyy Red will continue her own campaign during her "Sexyy Red 4 President" Tour. The 26-city tour will kick off in Seattle on August 22 with special guests Hunxho, Loe Shimmy and Blakeiana. Big Sexyy will travel to various major cities throughout the fall until she wraps things up on October 5.
