Chance The Rapper & Kirsten Corley 'Part Ways' After 5 Years Of Marriage

Chance The Rapper and Kirsten Corley have decided to mutually part ways.

On Wednesday, April 3, the former couple announced that the have split up after five years of marriage. In a joint statement they posted to social media, Chance and Kristen explain they've been separated for the past two years, but will continue to raise their two daughters Kesli and Marli together.

"After a period of separation, the two of us have arrived at the decision to part ways," they said in the statement. "We came to this decision amicably and with gratitude for the time we spent together. God has blessed us with two beautiful daughters who we will continue to raise together."

Chance The Rapper and Kirsten Corley have known each other since they were children but they first started dating back in 2013. The couple welcomed their first daughter Kensli in 2015. They separated for a brief time in 2016 before they got back together the following year.

Chance and Kirsten got married in 2019, which is also the same year the couple welcomed Marli in the world. Shortly after his second daughter's birth, Chance actually paused the tour for his debut studio album The Big Day in order to spend more time with his family.

"We kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate this transition. Thank you," the former couple said at the end of their statement.
