A non-profit in Texas is handing out an offer that's hard to pass up.
The Other Ones Foundation is an Austin-based organization that was created in October 2018. In a year, they've successfully cleaned up their community and created job opportunities for the homeless.
More than 130 jobs have been noted to be given to individuals that are in need. The workers have been paid out over $100,000, so far, giving them a nest egg to reconstruct their living condition.
Executive Director Chris Baker said according to Sunny Skyz:
"When they come in, there's so much desperation, so much isolation. They become a member of our community and then they really start taking the steps necessary to get into the housing to get full-time jobs."
With hopes of expanding three times its current size, almost 100 people are on the waitlist to sign up to be a part of the change.
