The premiere of Empire welcomed the debut Terrence Howard's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Everyone gathered Tuesday morning (Sept. 24th) in in front of the El Centro Complex on Hollywood Boulevard. The Academy Award nominated-actor made a speech consummating the accolade, which was coincidently placed by his TV-wife/partner-in-crime, Taraji P. Henson.
"A few years ago I was taken down by Hollywood and was told I would never work again. But then, a young woman named Dana Walden had faith in me and allowed me to head her show."
"Because my name is written in stone in Hollywood, as long as there's a Hollywood Boulevard, Terrence Howard will still stand."
Surely inspiring words since Terrence shared with Extra that he plans on quitting acting after the sixth season of Empire wraps.
“I’ve spent 37 years pretending to be people I think it’s time just to be Terry for a while.”
"I think I would like to spend the rest of my life doing something better for humanity, utilizing my brain for something other than memorizing someone’s lines.”
