Icons recognize icons.
That's especially very clear when you give birth to one. Perfect example: Blu Ivy Carter.
Beyonce's been in a battle over trademarking her daughter's name because of the major influence her image plays in society. However, issues came about since the pursuit in 2012 when Veronica Morales opposed the move because of her company named, Blue Ivy Events. Her premise is especially solid because she's owned the wedding planning organization since before 7-year-old Blue was born.
Now, since 2017, "Blue Ivy Carter" is being chased as a trademark so Beyonce can build a brand around fashion, beauty, hair care and more. Court documents stated:
“Blue Ivy Carter is a cultural icon who has been described as a ‘mini style star’ and has been celebrated for her ‘fashion moments’ overs the years. Her life and activities are followed extensively by the media and the public.”
Hopefully a judge will play this out fairly for all parties so Blue can explore a potential career in business.
