Right on the heels of a his major Family Feud: Africa Edition, Uncle Steve's got another major project to finally unveil.
We're proud to introduce Our Fearless Leader as a member of the Board of Directors for Anthem Sports and Entertainment. But we can't stop there! He also has a strategic agreement with the company in Content Development and Promotion. Anthem is one of the newest international ventures Unc is welcoming to his booked and busy life.The entertainment agency is home to game shows, wrestling entertainment programs and other sports-related passions like fishing and outdoor activities.
It's beyond welcomed news after there seemed to have been some hurdles along the way of getting to this point. Though The Steve Harvey Talk Show has been pulled off the air and a number of "haters" have had their own assumptions of him being "through," the always quiet, but hustling self-made head honcho humbly shut them up.
Support from Dallas Mavericks owner/ business mogul Mark Cuban was much appreciated as he played a vital role in Steve Harvey Global's latest announcement. Two years after first being presented with the opportunity and "being in the right place at the right time," Uncle Steve takes pride in also being an investor in the brand. He explained:
"They first approached me about some ideas and then they saw some pictures of me fish along time ago. They asked me was I an avid sports fan? I said, 'Sports, but I don't like hunting. I don't hunt. I'm not a hunter, but I do fish.' They said, 'Well, that's close enough. Your TV career is so vast. We'd like to talk to you about how you did it.'"
