High School Seniors Sit With Bullied Freshman at Lunch

Caleb Wrenn had a tough first day of high school, but all that went away after some seniors decided to take matters into their own hands.

Some of Reidsville Senior High School students weren't too welcoming of freshman, Caleb. He shared with his sister, Leah, through text that he wasn't as comfortable as he'd hoped. Lunch time was especially lonely since he didn't know anyone and the kids apparently thought he was a "loser" because he's short.

Leah didn't take a liking to the bullying her sibling was going through and posted the conversation on Twitter.

Some of the school's seniors, specifically the basketball and football players, caught wind of the mean treatment. To put an end to it, they sat with Caleb at lunch to show him that making new friends doesn't have to be too hard. Demontez Canada explained:

"I felt like I had to make a stand and make sure he was okay because he is a freshman and he shouldn't have to go through this his first year of high school."
"The message that I want to send is that you should always be humble, no matter what the situation is, no matter what everybody is going through, you should make sure they're okay."

That's what it's all about! ๐Ÿ˜Š
