We highly doubt Cynthia Bailey knew the grand opening of a new business would segway into a grand new journey in her romantic life.
People Magazine broke the news about the supermodel reality star getting engaged to boyfriend sportscaster, Mike Hill. The Real Housewife was attending the debut of The Bailey Wine Celler when things took an unexpected, yet sweet turn. Family, friends and cast mates witnessed the long awaited proposal accompanied by a five-carat princess cut solitaire ring. Most importantly, Bailey's daughter, Noelle (19) and Hill's daughters, Kayla (17) and Ashlee (19), who were all in on the surprise.
Witnessing how beautifully their relationship had flourished on RHOA, there's no questioning why the woman who once said, "I'll never get married again," (before meeting Mike) gave him an ecstatic yes.
The divorced beauty met her FOX sports beau after ending her seven-year marriage to Peter Thomas. However, a fun dating game on The Steve Harvey Show in 2018 transformed her personal life forever.
An elaborate plan for the perfectly popped question went on without a hitch with the help of event planner, Courtney Ajinça.
She explained:
"He wanted it to be perfect and in a place where she would be surrounded by friends and family. He thought the opening of her Bailey Wine Cellar would be ideal because she would be clueless. It was a beautiful and outstanding moment, not a dry eye in the place. I'm so happy for the both of them."
