Sean Williams and his Dad Gang were strolling deep last Sunday (June 9th) with the kiddos.
The founder of the movement, motivated by creating socially and visually impactful events for fathers and their kids, led a grand walk to introduce his organization. More than 100 dads brought their children to take a walk through a New York City park for their "Strolling' With the Homies" event.
Sean explained to Because Of Them We Can,
"We knew that as the weather in NYC warmed up, Sunday mornings at the park will get busy and give us the perfect opportunity to turn some heads and start the conversation around Black fatherhood.”
The "Dope Dads" pushed their kids in strollers as they occasionally stopped to play.
New York welcomed the positive reflection of patriarchy at it's finest, but Sean's agenda isn't stopping there. He has clear motivations to spread the movement to other major cities and have every black father giving the #DADGANGSALUTE.
