Over the years, we've been able to enjoy a load of iconic television shows that cater to the African-American community. Almost every episode of our favorite shows either taught us a valuable lesson or had us weak from laughter.
No matter the reason, a major part of a lot of these shows' success is the family value encouraged in them. A strong patriarch role, specifically, was the most attractive aspect.
