Last week our favorite play cousin Kier "Junior" Spates hosted his Inaugural 5k Run and Fun Walk Run in Dallas, TX with our family at Smooth R&B 105.7 to raise money for his Kier's Hope Foundation, Inc whose efforts are geared towards "Working to Change the Shape of Sickle Cell Disease.
Folks came from everywhere to help change the narrative of those suffering with sickle cell disease.
From volunteers...
...to participants.
Junior took to his Instagram to say "thank you to all the sponsors, volunteers and participants that attended OUR VERY FIRST 5K Sickle Cell Run."
Junior currently serves as the Sickle Cell Disease Society of America Celebrity Ambassador.
