Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made history over the weekend as their royal wedding was transformative for the British monarchy. While many were enamored that a young girl from Los Angeles would live out the "fairytale" of many Disney films, it was Chicago native, Bishop Michael Curry who really stole the show.
As a proud biracial woman, Duchess Meghan Markle made sure to include her culture and heritage in her wedding. From the choir to the pulpit, there was no doubt that the royal court got a little "flavor" from the African American community.
Folks are still talking about Bishop Curry's sermon, "There Is Power In Love" where he quoted the legendary Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
