If you love R&B music, then you love Toni Braxton. Whether she was singing you "Another Sad Love Song," trying to "Un-Break [Her] Heart" or simply catching her breath to "Breathe Again," there was a song that resonated with you.
After decades of great music, the R&B songstress stops by The Steve Harvey Morning Show to discuss the new season of Braxton Family Values, her latest single, "Long As I Live" from her new album "Sex and Cigarettes" and her engagement to Cash Money rapper, Birdman aka Bryan Christopher Williams.
The two love-birds have known each other for a very long time, 18 years to be exact, so it's no wonder why the relationship "just happened."
Toni admits she knew she was going to get engaged, months before it actually happened, after appearing on Steve's talk show where psychic medium, Reginald Lewis saw it in her future and said the ring was going to be huge.
Wow, it may not be the pinky ring...but it's still "bling bling!" *cues Birdman*
With her 8th studio album, "Sex and Cigarettes," Braxton wants you to know this album is "all about being in a relationship" and figuring out how to make it work. While she's still singing about sad love songs, this time she's "doing it from an adult perspective, talking in adult language about it."
Take a listen to the full interview where Steve talks about Birdman lending him his $2 Million convertible Maybach, to hear Toni's latest single, "Long As I Live," and to find out what we can expect on this season of Braxton Family Values.
Toni Braxton's "Sex and Cigarettes" is available now and be sure to watch Braxton Family Values, Thursdays at 9/8c on WEtv.
