Meek Mill's work rejuvenating the basketball courts of his old neighborhood was just the tip of this generous iceberg.
The Philadelphia born rapper visited James G. Blaine Elementary with a lot of gifts that parents and faculty are very grateful for. Meek continued his outstanding partnership with Puma by donating a year's worth of school supplies for over 30 classrooms of the educational facility. Not only that, more than 500 students walked away with brand new backpacks full of personal supplies too!
The surprise was more than welcomed as kids cheered to see their hometown Dream Chaser strut the stage to share a special message.
"I wanted to stop here today, my elementary school that I grew up at... I just wanted to back and show my love and appreciation to my neighborhood. I want to give a shoutout to Puma for collaborating with me on school supplies and book bags... I came here to give the kids a message: Continue to chase your dreams."
