Jermaine Scott's Ligons Barbershop has become a haven for getting your line-up and mind right. The Tennessee barber took it upon himself to expand the knowledge of his younger clients by offering them a solution in the form of academic excellence. Troubled by how much he's seen children mesmerized by gadgets, he has decided to offer a special discount to kids who read while getting their haircut.
His usual charge of $15 dropped by $5 in order to encourage better educational habits. Jermaine explained he gets books from a library and runs the offer every Thursday.
