Yes, you read that correctly. Let's congratulate Junior aka Kier Spates for being recognized by Texas for his great ventures in health and wellness. Due to his great strides, the southern state has declared June 2019 "Kier Spates & The Kier's Hope Foundation Sickle Cell Awareness Month."
Besides being a celebrity ambassador for the Sickle Cell Disease Society of America, his vast work starting his own platform has hardly gone unnoticed. Kier's Hope Foundation was fashioned to bring awareness for children and adults who've been suffering with the disease. The nonprofit organization is staffed with volunteers who create programs, events, and fundraising to benefit those affected.
The recent proclamation proves their mission to increase community knowledge and advocate for families has well-been achieved.
