Gucci Mane Wages War Against Diddy In Savage Diss Track 'TakeDat'

Gucci Mane has launched a full-on attack against Diddy in the latest diss track to rock the hip-hop world.

On Wednesday night, April 24, Guwop dropped his new song "TakeDat" along with the official music video. The cover is a photo of him and his wife Keyshia Ka'Oir surrounded by other women in a jacuzzi — just like Diddy in the Notorious B.I.G.'s "Big Poppa" music video. In his visuals, Gucci recreates that scene while flipping the "No Diddy" craze into a merciless assault on the embattled music mogul.

"I got the power and respect but no Diddy," Gucci raps. "The CEO in the video but no Diddy, 'Cause I ain't dancin' like a ho, no Diddy."

Gucci Mane repeats the viral phrase all throughout the catchy record. He continues his lyrical slaughter by bringing up the various allegations against Diddy. He throws jabs by mentioning rumors about his sexual escapades with Yung Miami, and his alleged plot to blow up Kid Cudi's car. He even shot the music video in Miami, which is where he relocated permanently back in 2021.

The song arrives as the federal investigation into Diddy ramps up. According to a report PageSix published earlier this week, Diddy's legal team questioned the character of Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones after they discovered "troubling arrests and convictions" including domestic assault, misdemeanor sexual assault and reckless homicide. Jones is one of the accusers who filed a sexual assault lawsuit against the Bad Boy founder earlier this year. In response, Jones' lawyer dismissed his client's criminal past and insisted Diddy will be indicted soon. The seasoned artist has maintained his innocence.
